The History of the Argentine Sexual Diversity + Community.
Explore the history of America's Queer-friendliest country
Join us on a tour that celebrates the history, landmarks, and legacy of Argentina's LGBTQ+ movement. From pre-colonial times to the historic Egalitarian Marriage Bill and Gender Identity Bill, this tour covers it all. You'll explore the National Congress, historic "teteras," and memorials to great activists. You'll also discover why Evita Perón became a gay icon at the Evita Museum. This tour delves deep into the relationship between gender expression and sexuality, from Native Americans to the first legal non-binary people in the country. It's a tour full of grit and fighting spirit.
For every private tour we sell, we donate 10% of the earnings to the Mocha Celis high school for Trans folk. This amazing school provides students with psychological and medical assistance, food stamps, and most importantly, a place of love, empathy, and non-judgment.
During the tour, you'll visit the National Congress, Carlos Jáuregui's home, a historic lesbian activist center, and a Queer Cultural Center. Get ready to explore the rich and vibrant history of Argentina's Queer community.
Important note: visits to the NGO Mocha Celis run during the school year, Mo-Fri.
